Programs Offered
CampFire
Description
There’s just something about a good camp fire that draws us in! Good discussion, self reflection, camaraderie, laughter & storytelling are common components to our experience around those blazing embers. More impactful than the actual fire is the power of sitting in a circle as a community of brothers. No matter our cultural backgrounds, ideologies, social or financial classes, everyone feels welcome!
Sadly for most men, it’s rare to find the time, space or group to sit around a fire unless on vacation or off on a retreat. CampFire will provide men a space to sit in circles & engage one another in meaning full discussion with the intent for life change.
Structure
12 monthly gatherings centered around a specific topic relatable to the relationships & issues men face on a daily basis. There will be a meal provided along with some activities to build community. Attendees will hear from a reputable Christian speaker on the topic & then incorporate smaller table discussions to personalize the content.
Topics such as: Intentional Fathers, Faithful Husbands, Christian Business Principals in the Workplace , Game-Changing Habits, Conquering Addictions, Tender Warriors, Rites of Passage, The Lost Discipline of Ebenezars
ALPHA
Description
Alpha is a series of conversations about things we all question in life: Why do bad things happen to good people? What’s the purpose of life? What’s next?”
If you’re looking for a judgment-free space to ask hard questions and share your own opinion, there’s a place for you.
Connecting with others is what we were made for. All sessions start with a time to connect and build friendships, eliminating awkwardness and creating space for important conversations.
Alpha’s content explores the big questions we all ask, and guests from any background can unpack the basics of Christian faith. Bring your questions, you’ll find you’re not alone.
Those who attend Alpha share that their small group discussions are hands-down the best part of the experience. No questions are off limits and there’s nothing you can’t say (really).
Structure
2x 11 week Sessions per year. (Spring & Fall). Meals will be provided at the start. Participants will watch a video discussing a particular topic for the evening & then discuss among their table for the remainder of night.
Youth
Description
If it dies with us, it dies! We are dedicated to pouring into the next generation & passing on the wisdom, learnings, humility & Christ-like character that can only come from those that have experienced a full life & have the scars to prove it. Kids & young adults more than ever need to have a place to feel accepted, known & safe to be themselves.
Structure
A) Junior Hill Takers – 2 events a year centered around providing fun & empowering activities that will push youth out of their comfort zones & build positive memories that can be catalysts for their overall mental, emotional & spiritual development. It’s a chance for our guides to show these kids first hand the love of an Abba!
B) Partnering with Philemon House – a registered 501c3 local organization “providing training & guidance for incarcerated young men. 12 monthly events that incorporate archery as a resource to help these young men experience the fun, success & empowerment.
